Celina Mauls Gunter to Stay Perfect
CELINA — The Bobcats kept their streak of blowouts alive Friday night, rolling past Gunter 43-19 in a showdown that was over long before the final whistle.
Celina’s offense struck early and often, never allowing the Tigers to settle in. It was the Bobcats’ third straight win by 20 points or more, and they looked every bit like a top-20 team in Texas.
Gunter, who came in unbeaten, saw their perfect start spoiled and dropped to 2-1.
Bobcats Keep Rolling
Celina improved to 3-0, continuing a dominant start that has quickly put the rest of Class 4A on notice. Their ability to build big leads and keep the pressure on has been the story of their season so far.
