Fueled by a dominant defense and an electric showing from wide receiver Josiah Thomas, the Cavaliers extended their season to the area round with authority.
Offensive Fireworks After a Tight Start
The game began as a back-and-forth battle, with both teams locked at 7-7 in the first quarter. But Lake Travis erupted in the second, sparked by a 66-yard catch-and-run touchdown from Thomas that broke the deadlock. That play ignited a 31-point surge, which included a 55-yard pick-six by defensive back Aiden Archer just before halftime. By the break, Lake Travis had secured a commanding 24-7 lead and never looked back.

The Cavaliers committed 11 penalties and turned the ball over twice, including a muffed punt that set up Round Rock’s first touchdown.
