Randle Roars Past Fort Bend Marshall in Statement Win
RICHMOND – Randle left no doubt on Thursday night, dismantling Fort Bend Marshall 51-6 and proving why they’re one of the most dangerous teams in Texas.
The Lions didn’t just win — they dominated wire-to-wire, outscoring the Buffalos in every quarter and turning what could’ve been a test into another statement victory.
Lions’ Offense in Full Gear
Quarterback Tyler Skrabanek set the tone early, picking apart Marshall’s defense with 233 passing yards and two touchdowns on just 18 attempts. But it was the ground game that broke the Buffalos’ spirit – Randle pounded out 317 rushing yards, their fourth straight game topping 230+ on the ground.
That relentless run game has been the Lions’ calling card, wearing down defenses until there’s nothing left in the tank.
Defense Clamps Down
Randle’s defense was just as impressive, allowing only six points all night and shutting Marshall out in the second half. The Buffalos struggled to sustain drives, and any momentum they found was quickly erased by a swarming Lions front.
What’s Next
The win keeps Randle perfect at 4-0, with every victory coming by at least 20 points. They’ll face a much-anticipated matchup against Iowa Colony on Thursday at 7 p.m. – a battle between two of the stingiest defenses in the state (Randle allows 10.2 PPG, Iowa Colony 9.5).
Fort Bend Marshall (2-1) will look to bounce back on Sept. 26 when they take on rival Santa Fe.
