The Ball High Tornadoes continued their dominant season with a commanding 41-10 victory over the Port Arthur Memorial Titans on Friday night, keeping their perfect record intact. Every game Ball has played this season has ended in a blowout of 20 or more points, and this latest win was no different as they cruised past the Titans at home.
Quarterback Kyden Barker delivered another stellar performance, throwing for 295 yards and five touchdowns on just 14 passes. Barker’s efficiency and big-play ability have been a cornerstone of Ball’s offensive success this season, as he’s now averaging 3.2 passing touchdowns per game. His favorite target, Juwaan Woodbury, was a key part of the attack, amassing 141 receiving yards and scoring two touchdowns.
Ball’s ground game was equally impressive, racking up 249 rushing yards, marking their third consecutive game with over 240 rushing yards. This balanced offensive approach has made them difficult to stop, allowing them to control the pace and wear down opposing defenses.
On the defensive side, the Tornadoes were relentless, recording six sacks and constantly disrupting Memorial’s offense.
