Crowley Falls to North Shore in 28-13 Defeat
After a strong performance against Birdville the previous week, the Crowley Eagles faced a tougher challenge Friday, falling 28-13 to the North Shore Mustangs.
Despite the loss, Crowley had some standout performances, particularly from quarterback Caleb Williams. Williams threw for 190 yards and a touchdown, while also catching a touchdown pass. Wide receiver Antayvious Ellis added to the effort with an impressive 102 receiving yards.
On defense, Crowley’s secondary showed up, snagging five interceptions throughout the game. Kameron Walker led the way with two picks, helping to keep the Eagles in contention.
However, North Shore’s powerful ground game proved too much to handle. D’Andre Hardeman Jr. led the Mustangs’ rushing attack with 118 yards and a touchdown, while Chris Thomas contributed 47 rushing yards and another score.
With the loss, Crowley’s record drops to 1-1, while North Shore improves to 2-0. This win also marks North Shore’s fifth consecutive road victory, a streak dating back to last season.
