North Crowley Overpowers Boswell in Dominant District Showing
FORT WORTH – North Crowley continued its district dominance Thursday night, rolling past Boswell 69-17 in a one-sided matchup that saw the Panthers control every quarter.
For the Pioneers, it was another tough chapter in this series their sixth straight loss to North Crowley despite flashes of promise from their offense.
Panthers in Command from Start to Finish
From the opening drive, North Crowley showed why it’s become one of the area’s most feared programs. The Panthers’ offense was nearly unstoppable, lighting up the scoreboard early and often while their defense smothered Boswell’s rhythm. By halftime, the outcome was all but sealed as North Crowley pushed its record to 7-1 and extended its win streak to four.
Pioneers Find Bright Spots in the Fight
While the final score tilted heavily toward North Crowley, Boswell still had playmakers making noise. Chance Lassiter was a spark on both the ground and through the air, posting 76 receiving yards and a touchdown while adding 36 rushing yards to lead the charge for the Pioneers’ offense.
Despite the loss, Boswell’s resilience and effort stood out even as the scoreboard didn’t show it.
What’s Next
Boswell (3–5) looks to regroup when they take on Weatherford on Oct. 31 at 7:00 p.m., a rivalry game that could swing momentum back in their favor.
Meanwhile, North Crowley will aim to keep its hot streak alive when it meets Mansfield on Thursday night, another key test for a Panthers squad chasing a deep playoff run.
