Panther Creek Blows Past Lake Worth in Statement Shutout
FRISCO – Once the rain finally cleared, Panther Creek wasted no time turning the night into a showcase. By the time the final horn sounded, the Panthers had overwhelmed Lake Worth 63-0, leaving little doubt about who controlled the matchup.
Quarterback Graylyn Fry set the tone early, directing a crisp nine-play, 75-yard opening march and finishing it himself with a touchdown run. From there, the floodgates opened. On Lake Worth’s next possession, Josiah Turner stepped in front of a pass and returned it to the short field, where Oregon commit Jalen Lott punched in a 23-yard score.
The Panthers didn’t stop to catch their breath. Two snaps later, Fry found Lott streaking downfield for a 36-yard touchdown strike. Before the first quarter ended, Lott added yet another highlight, snagging an interception to completely stifle the Bullfrogs’ offense.
The second quarter belonged to the air attack. Fry launched a 51-yard bomb to Jeremiah Forde, then linked up with Texas Tech pledge Donovan Webb for a 24-yard touchdown. By halftime, Panther Creek had built a commanding 42-0 advantage.
The Fry-to-Lott connection wasn’t finished. The duo connected again in the third quarter for a 34-yard score, pushing the margin to 49-0 and effectively sealing the rout. With the outcome decided, backup quarterback Tristin Schramm entered and added two more touchdown drives to cap the Panthers’ emphatic shutout at 63-0.
Panther Creek’s dominance was complete — explosive offense, opportunistic defense, and a scoreboard that told the entire story.
