Allen Rolls Over Plano West, Keeps Perfect Season Alive at 7-0
The Plano West Wolves hit a wall Friday night, dropping 56-7 to the Allen Eagles and ending a three-game road winning streak. It was the Wolves’ lowest-scoring output of the season, a harsh reality check against one of the state’s most dominant programs.
For Allen, this was just another routine blowout. The Eagles remain undefeated at 7-0, with every win this year coming by 20 points or more, proving that their high-powered offense is firing on all cylinders.
Quarterback Jeremiah Daoud was again the star of the show, tossing 236 yards and four passing touchdowns while completing 75% of his throws. He also added a rushing touchdown, continuing a hot streak of three straight games with at least three passing scores. Josyah Johnson contributed as well, tacking on two touchdowns and keeping the Eagles rolling.
Plano West managed little against Allen’s relentless attack, but they now turn their attention homeward. The Wolves will host Princeton at 7:00 p.m. Friday, facing a Panthers defense that has allowed nearly 38 points per game, which could set the stage for a high-scoring affair.
Meanwhile, Allen hits the road to take on Prosper, also at 7:00 p.m. Friday. The Eagles will need to be sharp, as Prosper has scored 31 or more points in each of their last six games.
Allen’s dominance continues unabated Plano West was just the latest team left in their wake.
