Allen Overpowers Rock Hill in 70-14 Rout
ALLEN — There was no mystery about this one after 24 minutes. Allen’s offense exploded for 49 first-half points and the Eagles never let up, steamrolling Rock Hill 70-14 on Friday night to improve to 3-0.
Eagles Soar Early and Often
From the opening drive, Allen put on a clinic. By halftime, the scoreboard read 49-7 and the game felt like a scrimmage. The Eagles rolled up points on the ground and through the air, showing why they’re sitting comfortably as the No. 4-ranked team in Texas according to MaxPreps.
Bright Spot for the Blue Hawks
Even in a tough loss, Rock Hill (2-1) found a highlight worth celebrating. Alijah Adefunmi broke free for an 84-yard run, part of his 88-yard night on just five carries — one of the few times the Allen defense was caught off guard.
Big Picture
Allen keeps its early-season momentum rolling, extending its winning streak to three straight. Rock Hill drops its first game of the season but remains a dangerous squad as they head into the next stretch of their schedule.
