
The Celina Bobcats clinched their first playoff victory with a commanding 49-14 win over Paris at Eagle Stadium in Allen.
Their offensive prowess was evident as they amassed a total of 532 yards, an impressive 455 of which came from their running game alone.
Taking a commanding 28-7 lead into halftime, Celina continued their dominance by extending their advantage, outscoring Paris 14-7 in the third quarter.
In a game where Celina found the end zone six times, five of those touchdowns were courtesy of their formidable running game. Logan Gutierrez and Bowe Bentley each contributed two scores, while Harrison Williams led the charge with 180 yards rushing and a touchdown. Jacob Brown also added to the rushing prowess by securing a touchdown of his own.
Quarterback Knox Porter connected with receiver Jacob Henry for Celina’s lone passing touchdown of the game.
