North Forney kicked off the postseason looking every bit like the powerhouse they were all fall. The Falcons punched their ticket to the next round with a commanding 42 to 7 win over Sachse on Friday night, adding yet another runaway victory to a season already full of them.
Asuquo and Bey Set the Tone Early
The Falcons’ backfield delivered a clinic from start to finish. Senior playmaker Andikan Asuquo tore through the Mustangs’ defense for 197 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, hitting a season high in the process. When he wasn’t sprinting into open grass, quarterback Legend Bey was carving up the defense himself, adding 65 rushing yards and two more scores on eight attempts.
Every time Sachse thought they had one ball carrier contained, the other answered with another burst through the line.
Falcons Ground Game Takes Over
North Forney’s identity all season has been built on punishing opponents on the ground, and that continued in their playoff opener. The Falcons racked up 279 rushing yards and once again cleared the 215 yard mark, something they have now done in every game this year. The offensive line controlled the trenches from the first whistle, giving their backs massive running lanes and wearing Sachse down with each possession.
Another Step Toward Their Postseason Push
The win sends North Forney to 10 and 1 as they continue their march through the bracket. Their dominance has been consistent, their offense explosive, and their running game nearly impossible to slow.
Sachse falls to 6 and 5, ending their season against one of the most balanced and physical teams in the region.
North Forney moves on with confidence, momentum, and a ground attack that looks ready to carry them deep into November.
