DeSoto’s dominance extended beyond the offensive display. The defense stepped up, amassing four sacks and limiting Allen to just over 100 yards of total offense in the second half. DeSoto’s ground game was formidable, with Marvin Duffey leading rushing efforts with 85 yards on 13 carries, closely followed by Jaden Trawick’s 83 yards on nine carries, including a touchdown.
