Mansfield Timberview Stays Perfect, Crushes Richardson 60-7
Mansfield Timberview walked in unbeaten and walked out the exact same way, only louder. The Wolves demolished Richardson 60-7 Friday night.
Sixty points will do that. Timberview’s offense never let up, piling on from start to finish while the defense made sure Richardson never found any rhythm.
The win pushes Mansfield Timberview to a perfect 3-0. Richardson wasn’t just beaten, it was buried, the loss snapping an eight-game home winning streak dating back to last season and dropping the Eagles to 1-2.
Both squads get their home crowds again this week. Timberview opens conference play hosting Burleson Friday at 7 p.m., looking to keep the momentum rolling. Richardson stays home too, welcoming Plano West for its own conference opener, also kicking off at 7 p.m.
