All Saints Handles PCA 42-11 in Lions Stadium Battle
The scoreboard wasn’t kind to Prestonwood Christian, but the fight sure was there. The Lions dropped a 42-11 decision to All Saints Episcopal Friday night, though a strong offensive showing kept things competitive on the stat sheet even as the final margin got away.
PCA racked up 345 total yards, splitting the damage almost evenly between the air and the ground. Quarterback Max Reyes completed 7 of 13 passes for 98 yards and a touchdown, while Jackson Mankowski chipped in 94 yards and a score of his own through the air. The Lions spread the ball around all night, keeping their offense unpredictable and their playmakers involved.
Vance Hernandez was the standout target, hauling in six catches for 113 yards and a touchdown while averaging a robust 18.8 yards per grab. Luke Lineberger added three catches for 53 yards, averaging 17.7 yards a pop, and Braden Bixler chipped in three grabs for 27 yards to round out a deep receiving corps.
On the ground, PCA ground out 153 yards on 23 carries. Bixler led the way with 39 yards, Matthew Oviedo added 38, and Isaiah Jabek finished with 31, giving the Lions a balanced attack that kept fighting for every yard all night long.
The defense held its own too, finishing with 39 tackles, three sacks, two pass breakups, an interception and a forced fumble. Micah Windingland and Job Palmer both led the charge with four and six total tackles respectively. Brody Kernal was disruptive throughout, notching a tackle for loss, a pass breakup and a forced fumble, while Connor Kidwell came up with a fumble recovery to go along with a tackle and a pass breakup.
Even in a loss, the flashes were undeniable. Hernandez’s touchdown grab and PCA’s string of explosive plays through the air showed exactly the kind of playmaking ability that’s fueled the Lions’ strong start to the 2026 season.
