Southlake Carroll Rolls Past Eaton 49-6 for Season High
Southlake Carroll put up a season best Friday night, crushing V.R. Eaton 49-6 and extending its dominance in the series to nine straight wins.
Hudson Tomcheck was lights out, throwing for 219 yards and three touchdowns on just 18 attempts while adding a rushing score of his own, his third straight game with a touchdown on the ground. Dez Bryant Jr. made the most of limited touches too, turning just six carries into 128 yards and two touchdowns.
The defense was just as sharp, getting into the backfield for 3.5 sacks, the most Southlake Carroll has posted in nearly a year since also hitting 3.5 against Keller Central.
The win pushes Southlake Carroll to a winning record at 3-2. V.R. Eaton continues to struggle, dropping to 1-4 after losing nine of its last ten dating back to last season.
Both teams get a breather before their next matchups. Southlake Carroll stays busy though, taking on Northwest Friday, October 9, at 7 p.m.
