DeSoto Handles Centennial 29-3 in District Road Win
DeSoto took care of business on the road Friday, knocking off Centennial 29-3 in a district clash that never really got competitive.
The win pushes DeSoto to 2-2 on the season. Centennial, meanwhile, drops to 3-1, its first loss of the year.
Both teams have quick turnarounds. DeSoto returns home to host Midlothian on Friday, September 25, in a District 8 5A-1 Region II matchup. The Panthers enter that one at 2-2 after a 38-28 loss to Cedar Hill.
Centennial hits the road for its next test, traveling to face Cleburne, also in District 8 play. The Yellowjackets come in winless at 0-4, giving Centennial a good chance to bounce back quickly.
