Anna Stays Perfect, Tops Emerson 42-21
Anna keeps finding ways to win. The Coyotes rolled past Emerson 42-21 Friday night to stay unbeaten, pushing their record to a perfect 4-0 on the season.
The win keeps Anna’s momentum rolling right into the heart of district play. The Coyotes hit the road next, taking on Independence in a District 4 5A-2 Region I matchup Friday, September 25. Independence enters that one at 2-2 after a 41-21 loss to Memorial.
Emerson drops to 3-1 with the defeat but still has plenty to play for. The Mavericks stay home for their next test, hosting Denison, which comes in at 1-3 after a 40-27 loss to Panther Creek, also in District 4 action.
