Westlake Rolls McNeil 70-6 for Fourth Straight Win
Seventy points, and it was never in doubt. Westlake steamrolled McNeil 70-6 Friday night at Chaparral Stadium to stretch its winning streak to four games.
The Chaparrals are now 6-1 overall and 3-0 in District 25-6A, and they have been absolutely lights out in league play. Westlake has outscored its first three district opponents 165-23, including back-to-back games of 57 or more points after a 57-0 shutout of Westwood last week.
McNeil’s season keeps spiraling. The Mavericks fall to 0-8 and 0-4 in district and have given up at least 55 points in seven of their eight losses.
A big one is next for Westlake: a Week 9 rivalry showdown with Lake Travis. McNeil is still hunting for its first win and gets Round Rock.
